The Committee has five <br />members; Chairperson Tamara Ackerman, DJ Bakken, Ryan Hardin, Rhonda Magnussen, and Ann <br />McCormick, who meet on a monthly basis from May to October. <br /> <br />The Committee reviewed over 14 applications over the five-month period and would like to recognize <br />and congratulate the following businesses for: <br /> Making substantial improvements to the exterior of their buildings and/or landscape in the last <br />year <br />o Cornerstone Automotive <br />o Spikes Feed, Seed & Pet Supply <br />o Ralphie’s Minnoco <br />o Heritage Construction Companies, LLC <br />o Landmark Motel & Extended Stay <br /> Consistently maintaining their property in an attractive and well-kept manner <br />o The Bank of Elk River <br />o Abra Auto Body & Glass <br />o American Family Insurance – Bonnie Koste Agency Inc. <br />o Cretex Companies <br />o Atlas Staffing Inc. <br />The committee will once again be accepting applications starting in May 2018. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />None <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> 2017 Beautification Awards Recognition Presentation <br /> <br /> <br />The Elk River Vision <br />A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional <br />service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity <br />
