A transition plan is required for public agencies that solicit federal funding for trail and <br />sidewalk facilities. An ADA transition plan details agencies current services, policies, and practices to <br />ensure persons with disabilities are protected from discrimination on the basis of a disability. <br /> <br />The ADA transition plan includes a self-evaluation of all sidewalks and pedestrian ramps and details the <br />city’s intension to upgrade these facilities to meet ADA standards in an orderly process.
