<br />Elk River City Council Minutes <br />November 7,1994 <br /> <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Council discussion continued on the road easement and location. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO DIRECT THE CITY ATTORNEY TO RESOLVE <br />THE ROAD EASEMENT LOCATION BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SCHEEL'S REGARDING <br />THE IDENTIFICATION OF AN EASEMENT FROM THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THIS <br />PROPERTY (213TH AVENUE) TO THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF THIS 40 ACRE PARCEL. <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />It was noted that this action relates to requirement # 1 of the 6/20/94 approval of <br />this administrative subdivision and that the other terms and conditions of the <br />administrative subdivision remain in effect. <br /> <br />7. Other Business <br /> <br />COPS FAST Grant Application - The City Administrator reviewed a request from the <br />Chief of Police to submit the COPS FAST Grant application. A copy of the <br />application was distributed. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Council member Farber requested that the application request three officers <br />instead of two. The Council concurred. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE COPS FAST GRANT <br />APPLICATION. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />9. Staff Updates <br /> <br />There were no staff updates presented. <br /> <br />10. Motion to Call Executive Session of the City Council <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO CALL AN EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL TO DISCUSS PENDING LITIGATION ON THE HOHLEN PROPERTY AND <br />HOULTON FARMS PROPERTY. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />The City Council recessed at 10:00 p.m. into Executive Session.
