Call Meeting To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order at 6: 15 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman. 2. Consider June 13, 1994 Aoenda Item 4.2. - W.W.T.S. Summer Help. Item 4.3. - Sandpiper Estates. and Item 4.4. - Special Meeting Scheduling. were added to the June 13. 1994 City Council Agenda. e COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 13. 1994 AGENDA AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 3. Review Fire Chief Job Description and Review Advertisement Examples for Fire Chief Position Fire Chief Job Description The City Council requested that language be added to the Fire Chief job description to include the following responsibilities: 1. Implementation of a public fire prevention and education program. 2. Development and implementation of a commercial and residential inspection program. This topic is to be inserted after the "Budget" and before "Other" in the job description. The City Council asked the changes to the Fire Chief job description be reviewed as an agenda item at the next City Council meeting. Advertisement for Fire Chief Position The City Council concurred that language be added to the advertisement regarding requirements. to include the phrase "equivalent work experience and training is acceptable". 4.1.
