THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7. EDA Executive Director <br /> <br />Request to recommend to the EDA that the title of Executive Director of <br />EDA be given to Economic Development Coordinator and to increase the <br />salary to $45,000 to reflect the increased responsibility. Also, <br />request to increase vacation to the three week level. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dietz indicated he is opposed to increasing the vacation <br />level for the Economic Development Coordinator. <br /> <br />The Council discussed the fact that Bill Rubin performs most of the <br />duties of the EDA Executive Director and, therefore, it would be <br />appropriate to give him the title. It was the consensus of the Council <br />to discuss the pay increase at the personnel worksession. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE EDA THE REMOVAL OF THE <br />TITLE OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FROM PAT KLAERS AND TO GIVE THE TITLE TO <br />BILL RUBIN. COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />8. Employee Vacation Schedule <br /> <br />Request to study the City employee vacation schedule to consider <br />increasing the vacation level after 20 years of service. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council to discuss this item at the <br />personnel worksession. <br />
