THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the City Council to direct the Police Chief to look at <br />speed enforcement on Proctor Avenue. <br /> <br />8.5. <br /> <br />Reauest bv Jeff Colbath for Conditional Use Permit. Public Hearina. Case No. CU <br />95-11 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />City Planner Steve Ach indicated that Jeff Colbath is requesting a conditional use <br />permit to operate an upholstery business out of his existing home located at <br />13155 183rd Avenue NW. Steve Ach reviewed staff report on this issue. He <br />indicated that staff and Planning Commission have recommended approval of <br />the request. <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman opened the public hearing. There being no one for or against <br />the matter, Mayor Duitsman closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Council member Holmgren raised a concern regarding whether boats would be <br />kept in the yard overnight. Mr. Colbath indicated that there would be no more <br />than one boat at a time stored outdoors other than his own boat. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />REQUESTED BY JEFF COLBATH TO OPERATE AN UPHOLSTERY BUSINESS OUT OF HIS <br />HOME LOCATED AT 13155183RDAVENUE NW WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. HOURS OF OPERATION BE FROM 7 AM TO 10 PM, AS PER CITY CODE. <br /> <br />2. NO EXTERIOR STORAGE RELATED TO THIS BUSINESS SHALL BE ALLOWED, WITH <br />THE EXCEPTION OF ONE CUSTOMER'S BOAT BEING ALLOWED TO BE KEPT IN <br />THE DRIVEWAY AT ANY ONE TIME. <br /> <br />3. SIGNAGE BE LIMITED TO TWO SQUARE FEET, AND MOUNTED FLAT ON THE <br />WALL OF THE DWELLING. <br /> <br />e <br />
