Utilities Commission Uodate <br /> <br />Councilmember Dietz informed the Council that the agenda for the upcoming <br />June Utilities Commission will include the presentation of the 1994 Audit and wage <br />negotiations with linemen. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />5.5. Community Recreation Board Uodate <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmgren stated that he would have no update until after the <br />upcoming Recreation Board meeting. <br /> <br />5.6. Consider Reauest to Hire Secretarv/Receotionist <br /> <br />The City Clerk stated that after interviewing eight applicants for the <br />Secretary/Receptionist position, she and Lori Johnson are recommending that the <br />City Council hire Michelle Dwyer for the position at $7.80 per hour beginning May <br />30, 1995. <br /> <br />MAYOR DUITSMAN MOVED TO HIRE MICHELLE DWYER FOR THE <br />SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST POSITION AT $7.80 PER HOUR WITH ONE-HALF YEAR'S <br />CLOTHING ALLOWANCE IN 1995. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.7. Consider Ordinance Amendment Relatina to the Burnino Ordinance <br /> <br />The City Clerk stated that staff is requesting an amendment to the City's recently <br />revised Open Burning Ordinance. She reviewed the two main areas of revision. <br />She stated that the first revision amends the hours of open burning to allow open <br />burning from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. She further explained that the second main <br />revision relates to recreational fires. This revision offers a more clear <br />understanding of the parameters for recreational fires. <br /> <br />e <br />
