It was the intent of the Board of Review to increase the 1993 assessor's estimated market value of each parcel by 50% of the increase given by the Minnesota Tax Court. COUNCILMEMBER Dim MOVED TO INCREASE THE 1995 ASSESSED VALUATION OF PARCEL 75-405-0470 TO $179.600. COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. Steven Johnson - 75-405-0250 - Assessor's estimated market value for 1993 = $223.000. Conclusion by Judge McClung of the Minnesota Tax Court = $234,000. COUNCILMEMBER Dim MOVED TO INCREASE THE 1995 ASSESSED VALUATION OF PARCEL 75-405-0250 TO $228.500. COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. e Cyril Lenzmeier - 75-405-0245 - (Snyder Drug) - Assessor's estimated market value for 1993 = $240.800. Conclusion by Judge McClung of the Minnesota Tax Court = $290.000. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO INCREASE THE 1995 ASSESSED VALUATION OF PARCEL 75-405-0245 TO $265.400. COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. (It was determined that prior to increasing the market value of property. the Board of Review must notify the property owner. Because this was not done. the above action taken on the tax court cases was rendered null and void following the Board of Review meeting. It was further determined that the property owners would be notified and that the action to increase the 1995 assessed valuation of the above properties would be done at the County Board of Equalization meeting.)
