<br />Joint Meeting of the City Council <br />April 18, 1995 <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Status Of Sewer And Water To The Government Center <br /> <br />The City Engineer Terry Maurer updated the Board of Commissioners regarding <br />the sewer and water being connected to the Government Center. He indicated <br />that it would be approximately 30 days before the Government Center will be <br />hooked up to the Utilities. <br /> <br />7. Miscellaneous <br /> <br />Library Funding <br /> <br />County Coordinator David Loch stated that due to the change in the funding <br />formula for libraries. Sherburne County is paying an additional $80.000 in 1995. <br />$80.000 in 1996 and $80.000 in 1997. David Loch indicated that in a few years <br />under this formula. Wright County and Sherburne County will be paying two <br />million dollars for library use. He indicated that Sherburne and Wright counties will <br />be the major supporters of the Great River Regional Library System but he does <br />not feel they are getting the benefit for the amount of money being paid to <br />support the library system. <br /> <br />Old Courthouse Building <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Building and Zoning Administrator Steve Rohlf indicated that the EA W process for <br />the destruction of the Old Courthouse Building will be complete by the end of <br />June. Dave Loch. County Coordinator. stated that the County will be letting bids <br />for the removal of the Courthouse on May 16. 1995. <br /> <br />Marketino. Of The Administration Buildina <br /> <br />County Coordinator David Loch updated the Council and County Board of <br />Commissioners on the status of the Administration Building. He indicated that the <br />County has received an offer for the sale of the building. but the offer was <br />rejected by the County Board. <br /> <br />SCORE Grant <br /> <br />Commissioner Mike Johnson stated that the County has received less SCORE <br />funding than in the past. He further stated that the County has not had a <br />chance to review all the applications for the SCORE funds. Steve Rohlf. Building <br />and Zoning Administrator. stated that the City is trying to add cardboard to its <br />recycling program and further indicated that the City is in need of recycling bins. <br /> <br />Wetland LGU Administration Grant <br /> <br />Building and Zoning Administrator Stephen Rohlf updoted the City Council and <br />Board of Commissioners on the City's progress in applying for the Wetland LGU <br />Administration Grant. He indicated that the City is in the process of completing <br />the paper work and will be submitting it to the County. <br /> <br />e <br />
