There being no one for or against the <br />matter, Mayor Klinzing closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF <br />WINDSOR PARK P99-12 WITH THE CONDITIONS AS OUTLINED IN THE STAFF REPORT. <br />COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.6. Request bv City of Elk River for Easement Vacation, Public Hearina Case No. <br />EV 99-5 <br /> <br />Director of Planning Michele McPherson noted that the City of Elk River is <br />requesting vacation of temporary construction easements relating to the <br />installation of public improvements in Elk River Crossing. Michele McPherson <br />reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing opened the publiC hearing. There being no one for or against the <br />matter, Mayor Klinzing closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 99-98 VACATING <br />DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS FOR CASE NO. EV 99-5. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.7. <br /> <br />Consider Park Dedication Fees <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Director of Planning Michele McPherson noted that the Park and Recreation <br />Commission is requesting the City Council to consider an increase of the <br />Residential Park Dedication Fee from $1,300 per lot to $1 AOO per lot. She <br />indicated that the commission is also requesting consideration of an increase in <br />the trail reimbursement to developers to $14.00 per linear foot. Michele noted <br />that this request will be made along with the proposed 2000 Fee Schedule at the <br />January 10 council meeting. It was a consensus of the council that it would like <br />to see what other cities are doing in the line of park dedication fees. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Staff Updates <br /> <br />There were no staff updates. <br /> <br />8.
