Both signal systems be equipped with emergency vehicle preemption systems. In 1998 the <br />City of Elk River equipped all of the existing signals in the City with this technology and <br />would request that all future signals include it also. <br />2. If the City of Elk River is going to be asked to take on the responsibility for maintaining the <br />signals relative to lamping, we would request that the signals be equipped with LED lights <br />throughout. This was also done to all of the existing signals in the City of Elk River in 1998. <br /> <br />One final thought, we believe that it would be in the best interests of everyone if both of these <br />signals were tmand";op~rCitiQ!JC3.I:;;Q~foI~~thei;start,otthe20QQ12001:;schooI~year.
