5.1 Announcements <br />Ms. Eddy reinforced the committee to encourage businesses to apply for a Beautification <br />award. Member's Hardin and McCormick will represent the committee at the EDA meeting <br />on Monday night at 5:30 pm. Members asked when the grand prize will be awarded - at the <br />October meeting or November and also discussed what the grand prize winner receives. The <br />members suggested that the grand prize plaque be located at city hall and/or grand prize <br />winners should be recognized at the Mayor and city council meeting. <br />6.
