<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 99-87 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION INDICATING THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />INTENT TO WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MNIDOT <br />IN PRESERVING RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG THE <br />TRUNK HIGHWAY 169 CORRIDOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mn/DOT has identified Trunk Highway 169 through Elk River <br />has an Inter-Regional Corridor; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of an Inter-Regional Corridor classification is to <br />identify corridors for future preservation or traffic flow and <br />capacity by maintaining a freeway design standard; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to maintain a freeway design standard, Mn/DOT will <br />have to acquire right-of-way in the future for interchanges <br />along Trunk Highway 169. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />. Elk River, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1.
