We feel certain that qualified candidates can be presented within 30 days of commencing the search. Sathe Executive Search Team The search team at Sathe Executive Search will be led by Senior Partner Greg Albrecht and Founding Partner Mark Sathe, with administrative support from Marilyn Khan and Annette Drieslein. Our "Exclusive Client" Advantage We think it is important to emphasize that Sathe Executive Search accepts only one search of a kind at a time to ensure that you do not compete with other clients for our resources or the best candidates. Therefore, if we are hired by the City of Elk River, we will not accept another search requiring a similar pool of candidates until you have selected your Community Development Director. We encourage you to ask each search firm you are considering whether they will offer you this same exclusive status. Fees Our fee structure offers flexibility which has enabled us to accommodate each client's preferences. Our standard fee is based on one-third of the position's annual gross compensation. Or, some clients prefer a negotiated set project fee. Sathe Executive Search accepts only retained assignments and we continue our efforts on each assignment until it is completed to your satisfaction. For the City of Elk River Community Development Director search, we propose a fee of$18,600. In addition to the project fee, search expenses are invoiced at actual cost and are incurred only with your prior approval. Expenses include the costs incurred specifically for your search for travel and lodging, web announcements, advertisements, long distance phone charges, and mass mailings. Candidate testing by an outside firm, if you request it, is billed separately by the testing firm. We estimate the expenses to be less than $400 for this search. Billing Cycle Our fee is submitted in three installments. Upon your authorization to proceed, we will submit the first invoice for $6,200. A second invoice for $6,200 will follow mid-search, typically at 45 days, which reflects the work completed plus expenses incurred on your behalf. The third invoice, plus any remaining expenses, will be issued when the search is concluded. Guarantee Our successful placement ratio is 95%, however, if the candidate you selected is not the right fit, we will reopen the search for up to one year for no additional charge except expenses.
