It is eXGiting to help the city find the right person for <br />this new position. <br /> <br />As we discussed, PDI can provide assistance in three major areas: <br /> <br />. Fully understanding the position requirements <br />· Designing and developing an effective recruitment strategy <br />· Fully evaluating candidate qualifications <br /> <br />On the front end, we would develop a comprehensive position profile detailing the <br />competencies, challenges, and priorities for the position. This would serve as a basis for later <br />candidate evaluation and perfor1llance evaluation for the chosen person. <br /> <br />On the recruitment side, we would obtain contact information for individuals who meet the <br />required qualifications and ensure they are aware of the position's availability. We would also <br />obtain nominations by contacting the most senior, well-respected individuals in the <br />profession and asking them to submit names. <br /> <br />The evaluation procedures are designed to provide increasingly greater depth with a more <br />select number of individuals: The final goal is that the city have "no surprises" when an <br />individual is chosen. We also take great care to treat candidates equitably and openly.
