Sellon, Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />May 1, 1937 <br /> <br /> <br />Board of Town of Elk River met in regular session with all members present. <br /> <br />Present: \[not listed\] <br /> <br />A.W. Jesperson appeared with application for dance permit for May 5 at Camp Cozy which on <br />motion was granted. Also with application for consent to sell malt liquor at dance hall which was <br />taken under consideration. <br /> <br />A. Blaise appeared before board with Application for consent to sell malt liquor which was taken <br />under consideration. <br /> <br />P.E. Deschenes appeared before board with a complaint of Bulls running at large which was <br />considered by Board and Clerk instructed to notify Joe Toth with copy of law and insert notice in <br />Star News. <br /> <br />On motion it was voted to pay following wages for 1937 – man $.30 per hr.
