It is important that you have all of the necessary <br />information on hand before you make a decision on whether or not to support such a <br />company. <br /> <br />I have attended the planning commission meetings of this proposed development and I <br />fear that there have been few if any studies done on the effects a Wal-mart will have on <br />a community the size of Elk River. <br /> <br />I have enclosed a copy of the conclusions and recommendation from the Shils Report. <br />The report can be found in its entirety on theweb at: www.shilsreoort.org . <br /> <br />If you have any questions about the impact Wal-Mart has had on communities in <br />America as well as their historic treatment of their employees I welcome your call.
