Letter to Mr. Morrell <br /> <br />Status <br /> <br />After review of the zoning code, it was determined that commercial parking lots are not <br />a permitted use in any district. Parking is defined as an accessory use. An ordinance <br />amendment would be required to establish such a use in the C2 Office District. <br /> <br />The parking lot itself was constructed without submitting a grading plan for staff review. <br />It is unknown if the lot meets the setback requirements, and it does not meet the <br />curbing or hard surface requirements at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Morrell was sent a letter (attached) outlining the above concerns and requesting <br />that he contact staff to discuss them.
