Jeff Mordal r <br />September 8, 1999 <br /> <br />. <br />ElI( <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />Police Department <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />Safe & Sober Resolution <br /> <br />As you are already aware, we have received preliminary approval for the Safe & Sober <br />funding for the grant year of2000. We have received a grant of $34,000, of which, <br />approximately $30,000 is for overtime enforcement and $4,000 is for equipment and <br />administrative costs. The City of Elk River Police Department will receive approximately <br />one-third of these funds. <br /> <br />The accompanying 'Resolution' is the documentation that the Minnesota Department of <br />Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety requires of each agency. This resolution authorizes <br />the execution of the agreement made between the City of Elk River and the Office of <br />Traffic Safety. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The resolution further authorizes Chief Zerwas to implement the project on behalf of the <br />Elk River Police Department and to be the fiscal agent and to be the lead agency that <br />administers the grant to the other agencies involved. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway.
