Economic Development Authority Minutes Page 3 <br /> July 17,2017 <br /> • 8. Discuss Former School District Office Property <br /> Ms. Othoudt presented the staff report. Ryan Hardin with KW Commercial was <br /> present representing ISD #728 to answer questions. Mr. Hardin indicated he had <br /> received multiple offers but nothing was finalized and there was still an opportunity <br /> for a potential buyer. <br /> The EDA discussed reasons the authority would consider purchasing the property, <br /> the state of the building, and if by acquiring the property would it be used for <br /> something that fell into the spirit and charter of the EDA. <br /> After discussion,it was the consensus of the EDA to pass on submitting an offer for <br /> the Independent School District#728 district office building as purchasing it and <br /> developing the building was outside the scope of the EDA. <br /> 9.
