Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Elk River Planning Commission <br /> was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Johnson. <br /> 2. Consider July 25, 2017, Planning Commission Agenda <br /> Moved by Commissioner Larson-Vito and seconded by Commissioner Feinstein to <br /> approve the July 25,2017,Planning Commission agenda. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 4.I General Business—None <br /> 5.1 City Council Liaison Update <br /> Councilmember Wagner provided an update on action taken by the City Council on <br /> planning items at their June 19 meeting. <br /> The Planning Commission recessed at 7:07 p.m.in order to go in to work session. The <br /> Planning Commission reconvened at 7:09 p.m. <br /> 6.1 Subdivision Proposal: Meadowvale Road and Lander Street <br /> Mr. Carlton provided information regarding a proposal to develop approximately 22.78 acres <br /> located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Meadowvale Road and Lander Street as <br /> a residential subdivision. <br /> Chair Johnson noted that the request meets the Comprehensive Plan guidelines. He asked if <br /> there were any plans to extend sewer and water to this area. Mr. Carlton stated that the <br /> likelihood of that is small. <br /> Discussion followed regarding the 2 proposed layouts. <br />
