Public Hearings <br /> There were no public hearing items scheduled for this agenda. <br /> 6.I Beautification Awards <br /> Ms. Tamara Ackerman,representing the Elk River Beautification Committee, <br /> presented the staff report recommending two business owners receive recognition <br /> for maintaining the overall aesthetics of their property. Mike Persons from Spikes <br /> Feed, Seed &Pet Supply was present to receive a recognition award for Category 1 - <br /> making substantial improvements to the exterior of their buildings and/or landscape <br /> in the last year. Danyell Wendland and Scot Johnson from ABRA Auto Body & <br /> Glass were present to receive a recognition award for a business that consistently <br /> maintains their properties in an attractive and well-kept manner. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Blesener and seconded by Commissioner Olsen to <br /> recognize Spikes Feed, Seed & Pet Supply with an award for making <br /> substantial improvements to the exterior of their building. <br /> Motion carried 6-0. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Westgaard and seconded by Commissioner Ovall to <br /> recognize ABRA Auto Body& Glass with an award for consistently <br /> maintaining their properties in an attractive and well-kept matter. <br /> Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 6.2 Directors Report <br /> Ms. Othoudt presented the staff report. <br /> 6.3 Marketing Report <br /> Ms. Eddy presented the staff report. <br /> 7.
