HSA plan, which increased the employer HSA contribution made in January by$21,202 over <br /> last year. <br /> General Expenses of$6,271 are 75%less than the prior year, and are 48%under budget YTD. <br /> The main driver causing the variance to prior YTD is due to the timing of rebates. <br /> For expenses, in total they are 4%more than the prior year, and are above prior YTD by 6% but <br /> are under budget YTD by 2%. <br /> For June 2017,the Electric Department has a Net Loss of$163,799 and YTD Net Profit of <br /> $133,756. This is better than the budgeted Net Loss of$288,331 and better than the prior year <br /> monthly Net Loss of$331,067, but is lagging prior YTD Net Profit of$301,256. <br /> Water P&L <br /> June gallons of water sold (from May's usage) is down 12%from the prior year. For further <br /> breakdown: <br /> • Residential use down 13% <br /> • Commercial use down 11% <br /> Water Operating Revenues for June of$188,409 are down from last year by 12% and below <br /> budget by 13%. Operating Revenue is 5%below prior YTD, and is 6%below YTD budget. <br /> Other Revenues of$70,742 are up from the prior year by 33%, and ahead of prior YTD by <br /> 115%. Revenues are also ahead of YTD budget by 334%. The main drivers causing the prior <br /> YTD variance are WAC Fees of$320,696 and Developer Contribution of$55,882. <br /> Overall, Total Revenues of$259,152 are behind the prior year by 3%, but are ahead of prior <br /> YTD by 31%. As previously stated WAC Fees and Developer Contribution are the driving <br /> force. YTD Total Revenues are ahead of budget by 53%. <br /> Expenses are above the prior year by 5%, but are under YTD budget by 8%. <br /> For June 2017,the Water Department has a Net Profit of$34,616,which is behind last year's <br /> Net Profit of$52,917.
