12 <br />Summer Playground Adventures “SPA” <br />763.635.1150 www.ElkRiverMN.gov/Register <br />SPA <br />The Summer Playground Adventure Camps run Monday <br />through Thursday. Each day, staff will take a break with <br />the campers; you are welcome to send a peanut-free snack <br />for your child to eat during break. <br />Also bring: <br />• Water bottle <br />• Sunscreen <br />• Small backpack <br />• Bug spray <br />• Peanut-free snack <br />Note of allergies/special needs should be indicated on <br />registration form and also be given to camp leaders on <br />the first day each week as the leaders may vary. <br />Please check each SPA Camp description for additional <br />equipment needs. <br />Weather <br />Policy <br />Programs may be cancelled <br />due to rainy or severe weather. <br />Dress in layers. Call the weather <br />hotline 763.635.1160 or check our <br />Facebook page at www.Facebook. <br />com/elkriverpr one hour prior <br />to a program to confirm <br />cancellations. <br />Supervision and Pick-up Policy <br />For your child’s safety, children must be picked up on <br />time each day. Playground staff are responsible for the <br />supervision and safety of children during the scheduled <br />program time only. Staff travel between multiple program <br />sites each day and are unable to provide continued <br />supervision past a program’s end time. Parents are <br />required to provide written permission for their children <br />to walk/bike home on their own. Children should bring <br />their own sunscreen and water bottle, and wear closed <br />toe shoes. <br />American Doll <br />Adventure Camp <br />Campers, along with their dolls, will <br />enjoy adventures that may include <br />dancing, fashion shows, crafts, games, stories, walks in <br />the park, and more!
