Elk River Public Library Board Page 3 March 28,2017 Items that are pending will come out of the Zones Report since these items are now listed in the "Parking Lot" on the Building Maintenance and the library Grounds reports. The Zones Report will only list new items presented at a Board meeting prior to assignment to building maintenance or parks. No zone issues presented. 5.5 City Council Report There were no questions about the report. Brandi added that the big board is aware of the city's resolution asking for a change to the library hours. Executive Director,Karen Pundsack,will begin discussions on this once GRRL gets all the signed library agreements back. 5.6 Lead Patron Services Supervisors Report There were no questions or comments about the report. Brandi provided a handout copy of a comment card received in Elk River praising the preschool story time. Brandi also mentioned the High 5 Your Library fundraiser. Half the funds raised stay in the local library;half go for GRRL operating costs. Brandi wanted to give recognition to the extraordinary staff at the Elk River library during the Library Services Coordinator transition. Elk River library now has a color printer. GRRL's goal is for all libraries to have color printers within the next four years. 5.7 Library Services Coordinator Report Robbie will begin providing reports to the Board beginning with the next meeting. 5.8 GRRL Trustee Report There were no questions or comments about the report. Mary said the board is still in discussions with Sartell over a locker library. Over one-third of the new library agreements are signed and back at GRRL. Legislative efforts did not yield much money for libraries. 5.9 Adjournment • The next meeting is May 23, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the Elk River Library. ierimmm er NATURE
