C_:ity CIf <br /> Eli« <br /> tZave,l <br /> Joint Finance Committee <br /> Responsibilities <br /> ■ The Joint Finance Committee is an advisory committee under the Economic Development <br /> Authority and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority's empowered to make <br /> recommendations to both authorities. <br /> ■ The Joint Finance Committee reviews all types of city economic development and housing <br /> and redevelopment projects. <br /> ■ Projects may include acquiring, developing,improving, and disposing of property, entering <br /> into contracts, and operating and maintaining public facilities. <br /> ■ The responsibility of the Joint Finance Committee shall be to advise and assist the Authority <br /> and to work with the Executive Director of the Authority and the Economic Development <br /> Coordinator of the city on assignments if needed. <br /> Membership <br /> The Joint Finance Committee consists of 9 members advising both boards. Two members will be <br /> represented by the EDA and appointed by the EDA, two members will be represented by the HRA <br /> and appointed by the HRA, two members will be representatives of the banking industry, one <br /> member will be representatives of the real estate industry, one member will be representative of the <br /> law industry, and one member representing the community at large.
