On July 13, the Commission considered this request and in <br />general concurred with the recommendations of staff and the Park and <br />Recreation Commission. No one from the public spoke for or against this <br />item. <br /> <br />Recom men da tion <br /> <br />Staff and the Planning Commission recommend that the City Council <br />approve Elk River Country Club's request for: <br /> <br />A) A LAND EXCHANGE OF 1.2 ACRES OF CITY/PARK LAND FOR 2.82 ACRES OF <br />COUNTRY CLUB LAND AND, <br /> <br />B) AN EASEMENT EXCHANGE OF 62.22 ACRES OVER COUNTRY CLUB <br />PROPERTY FOR ACCESS AND USE OF SKI TRAILS IN EXCHANGE FOR .86 <br />ACRES OVER PARK LAND FOR ACCESS TO THE PROPOSED MAINTENANCE <br />FACILITY FROM THE PARK ENTRANCE DRIVE AND TO ALLOW FOR THE <br />CONTINUED USE OF THE DRIVING RANGE TO BE DEFINED BY LEGAL <br />DESCRIPTION PREPARED BY THE APPLICANT AND VERIFIED BY THE CITY. <br /> <br />f:\shrdoc\planning\stevewen\pcmmo\gp99-7.doc <br />
