5NATIONAL FITNESS CAMPAIGN <br />2018 <br />100 CITIES <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 10 APRIL 2018 <br />IN PARTNERSHIP WITH KAISER PERMANENTE, THE CITY OF <br />SAN FRANCISCO JOINS 2018 NATIONAL FITNESS CAMPAIGN TO <br />MAKE WORLD CLASS FITNESS FREE FOR ALL <br />City Launches NFC Fitness Court™ Program for Residents <br />SAN FRANCISCO, California, April 10, 2018– Today, Mayor Ed Lee announces the City of <br />San Francisco has partnered with Kaiser Permanente to join the 2018 National Fitness <br />Campaign, and will introduce an NFC Fitness Court™ at Marina Green in a free to attend <br />Opening Day celebration. <br />The 2018 Campaign honors one hundred cities across America who are activating public <br />spaces to provide free opportunities for fitness to their residents. <br />The world class NFC Fitness Court™ is an outdoor gym – designed for bodyweight <br />circuit training – reimagined to transform modern public spaces. The NFC ecosystem <br />combines a simple, seven minute, high quality workout and connected, digital platforms <br />to build fit communities. <br />“We are honored to recognize the City of San Francisco and Kaiser Permanente for <br />making the health of their community a priority,” said NFC Founder and CEO Mitch <br />Menaged. “Building fit cities must begin with creating opportunity for all, and we are <br />thrilled to partner with those who are doing just that.
