Infiltration area shall be staked off during construction to restrict heavy equipment
troffic from compacting native soils.
2. Install appropriate temporary erosionControl devices to prevent sediment from leaving
or entering the pr.ctice during construction.
3. Construct and vegetate bioretenti.n device following stabilization of contributing
tlroinoge are..
4. Grading of the infiltration basin shall be accomplished using IDw—impost earth—moving
equipment to prevent compos lion of the underlying soils. Small hacked dozers and
bobcats with runner tracks are recommended.
5. Excovole the infiltration basin to the specified depth (elevation). It is recommended
that all
sub material below the specified elevation shall be undisturbed.
5. In the event that sediment is introduced into the bmp during or immediately following
ovation, this material shall be removed from the practice prior to continuing
construction.
7. Any deficiencies in the erosion and sediment control
BMPs are to be noted on the inspection form and corrected by the end of the
next business day.
Perimeter control devices are to be repaired or replaced when they are no longer
effective or when the sediment reaches one—half the height of the device.
POLLUTION PREVENTION
Fertilizers are to be applied only in the amounts as specified and worked into the
soil to minimize exposure to stormwoter runoff.
Onsite refueling operations o e to be conducted with c Any inodvertenl spillage
of to el or chemicals is to be immediately cleaned up, removed from the site ontl
disposed of in accordance to State and Local Regulations. Major spills are to be
reportedto the MPGA 24 Hour Notification network at 800 422 0798.
