The proposed building will be used to store tools, supplies, <br />resale inventories, and to park equipment. In general, the building will <br />provide indoor storage and provide greater security of tools and equipment, <br />and a tidier site. <br /> <br />Access <br /> <br />Access to the building site will be via existing access drives from Highway <br />169 and 213th Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Architectural Reauirements <br /> <br />The Elk River City Ordinance requires 25% of the exterior building be <br />finished with approved or comparable exterior building finishes. The <br />proposed building would comply with this requirement. <br /> <br />Planning Commission <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />At the public hearing held on May 25, 1999, no one from the public spoke for <br />or against this item. The Planning Commission had few concerns and <br />recommended approval of the request. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Planning Commission recommend approval of a <br />conditional use permit amendment to allow the construction of a storage <br />building with the following condition: <br /> <br />1.
