e MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL MONDAY, JUNE 21, 1999 Members Present: Mayor Klinzing, Council members Dietz, Thompson, Farber, and Motin Members Absent: None Staff Present: Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Sandra Peine, City Clerk; Terry Maurer, City Engineer; Michele McPherson, Director of Planning; Scott Harlicker, Assistant Planner; Stephen Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator; Dave Sellergren, City Attorney Also Present: Tom Mesich, Planning Commission Representative 1. Call Meeting To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Klinzing. 2. Consider Aaenda e The agenda was amended as follows: . Item 7.1 - moved to Item 5. . A correction was made to the memo of item 3.8, noting that the special council meeting is set for 7/12/99. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE 6/21/99 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3. Consider Consent Aaenda Councilmember Motin discussed the issue under item 6.9 of the 5/17/99 minutes. He indicated that he thought a stipulation relating to tree replacement was part of the motion. After further discussion it was the decision of the council to approve the minutes as presented and to inform the developer of the council's wish regarding this tree replacement issue. COUNCILMEMBER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS: 3.10. 3.1b. 3.2. 5/17/99 COUNCIL MINUTES - APPROVED 6114199 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - APPROVED REQUEST BY CITY OF ELK RIVER FOR ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - CHAPTER 2, ADD SECTION 215 ESTABLISHING A HERITAGE PRESERVATION COMMISSION, PUBLIC HEARING CASE NO.
