THE PINES AT ELK RIVER P.U.D. consists of grading, utilities, aggregate base and bituminous surfacing, stormwoter management, and turf establishment. Project Duration: Anticipated 90 Days Potential Dischorges: Sediment resulting from construction operations. INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES The Contractor is to provide o trained intlivitluol responsible Tor the implementation, inspection ontl maintenance of the erns n ontl setlimenl control BMPS on the project. That individual is to be identified at the pre — construction c onterence and listed in the minutes thereof. The appointed individual is to perform o routine inspection of the entire site at least once every seven days during construction operations and within 24 hours otter o rainfall event greater than 0.5 inches in 24 hours. A recommended inspection form will be provided to the Contractor of the pr—construction conference. Any deficiencies in the erosion and sediment control BMPS are to be noted on the inspection form and corrected by the end of the next business day. Perimeter control devices are to be repaired or replaced when they are no longer effective or when the sediment reaches one —half the height of the device. POLLUTION PREVENTION Fertilizers are to be applied only in the amounts as specified and worked into the soil to minimize exposure to stormwoter runoff.
