City of <br /> Elk City of Elk River <br /> Wver City Council <br /> Resolution 17- <br /> A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Approving <br /> Application to Conduct Annual Off-Site Gambling for Elk River Lions Club <br /> WHEREAS, the Elk River Lions Club has made application to the State Gambling <br /> Control Board to conduct off-site gambling; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota's Lawful Gambling regulations require applicants to obtain <br /> acknowledgment and approval by resolution from the city in which gambling events are <br /> being held; and <br /> WHEREAS, approval of the application would allow the Elk River Lions Club to conduct <br /> gambling at the Sherburne County Fairgrounds July 20—23, 2017, during the Sherburne <br /> County Fair. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br /> River,Minnesota, as follows: the City Council hereby acknowledges and approves the <br /> application by the Elk River Lions Club to conduct off-site gambling. <br /> Passed and adopted this 191h day of June 2017. <br /> John J.
