The applicant will have a dumpster which will be kept inside <br />one of the existing storage buildings. A commercial disposal company will <br />empty it every 2 weeks. The pigs will be cooked in a roaster off site at the <br />customer's location. Food preparation will be done on site. A grease disposal <br />company will remove grease resulting from cooking the pigs. The grease <br />disposal should be kept inside. <br /> <br />No signage is proposed. No exterior alterations are proposed. The applicant is <br />in the process of receiving all necessary health department approvals. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Meeting <br /> <br />At the Planning Commission meeting held on April 27th, no one spoke at the <br />public hearing. A letter from Janet Cardinal opposing the permit was <br />discussed. A copy of the letter is included in your packet. The applicant <br />explained the type of business and the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and staff recommend the City Council approve Mr. <br />Jordan's request to operate a catering business from his home with the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The dumpster shall be stored inside one of the existing storage buildings. <br /> <br />2. The applicant receive all necessary health department approvals. <br /> <br />3. Grease generated as a result of this business be stored inside. <br /> <br />4. No exterior storage of equipment and vehicles used in the business. <br /> <br />5.
