Keen, Clerk <br /> <br />June 3, 1908: August Piere \[?\] befor \[sic\] me says that he posted 3 petitions for Cartway: <br /> One at Twin Lake Road <br /> One at Blacksmith Shop in the Villig \[sic\] of Elk River <br /> One where Carting will be laid out <br /> A.H. Keen, Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />June 22, 1908 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Town Board of equalization met at the Clerk’s Office on Monday, June 22, 1908. <br /> <br />Present: Chas. E. Brown, Chairman; W.A. Frye and Frank Sandusky, Supervisors; <br />A.H. Keen, Town Clerk <br /> <br />E. Morgan, Assessor, was present with his assessment for 1908. Upon examination of books, it was <br />decided to make the fowlowing \[sic\] changes upon notifying parties. The raised* Nels J. Anderson <br />on improvements $50.00; Henry Olson raised from $100.00 to $400.00; Fred Nickerson from <br />$300.00 to $400.00; C.T. Nickerson from $600.00 to $700.00. All four persons appeared before the <br />Board, no one appearing to make any complaint. <br /> <br />A.H. Keen, Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />Immediately after adjourning, Board of Supervisors held a session for the purpose of allowing bills. <br /> <br />Present: Chas. E. Brown, Chairman; W.A.
