<br />Justus deBooy was appointed by the President to investigate the matter of building a fire engine <br />house to be located in the best place at the south end of the park on Main Street, estimates of the <br />cost of building, etc. <br /> <br />The matter of building cement sidewalk was taken up and discussed and the matter was left with Mr. <br />DeBooy to see parties interested and ascertain what proportion of the expense they would be billing <br />to bear. <br /> <br />The Recorder was instructed to communicate with N.P. & G.N. R.R. Co’s, asking them to put <br />proper culverts under their tracks near the G.N. station for the protection of fire hose and \[illegible\] <br />them to provide these culverts at an early day. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion were allowed: <br /> <br />W.B. Eaton, lighting street lamps, $17.50 <br />Standard Oil Co., gasoline, $9.00 <br />Pioneer Press Co., advertising bonds, $5.80 <br />Carver Swing Co., drawing fire engine, $2.00 <br />A.N. Dare, advertising and stationery, $14.15 <br />W.V. Dare, advertising, $5.80 <br /> <br />On motion, the meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />H.C.
