The City of Elk River hereby appoints Mayor Hank Duitsman <br />to work with elected officials from communities along the <br />corridor to develop a joint powers agreement, providing a <br />mechanism to jointly address the need for transportation <br />enhancements, congestion relief, improved safety and systematic <br />land use planning; and, <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The City of Elk River hereby declares its intent to enter into <br />such a joint agreement, subject to the review and approval of <br />this governing body by March 31, 1997. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River, <br />Minnesota, this 24 day of March ., 1997. <br /> <br />A.
