Trumbull, janitors for election day, $1.00 <br /> <br />The communication from G.N. Rey accepting Notice of Ordinance in regard to trains regulating <br />their speed to 4 miles per hour across the streets in Village was taken up and disposed of by Council, <br />agreeing to stand by said Ordinance and instructing F.P. Brown to see that persons should not <br />practice jumping on and off from said trains while running at that rate of speed through the Village. <br /> <br />The following resolution was then presented and unanimously agreed to by Council roll call: <br />Ayes, 4 (H.C. Hastings, L. Pollard, F.P. Brown and W.F. Chadbourne); Noes, none. <br /> <br />Resolved that Sec. 1. Of Ordinance No. 27 entitled an Ordinance Regulating the Sale of Intoxicating <br />Liquors be amended by striking out the words “Five Hundred” and substituting in place thereof the <br />words “Seven Hundred and Fifty.” The Recorder was instructed to publish the same as Ordinance <br />No. 39 and to take effect immediately. <br /> <br />A petition was presented to the Council signed by 60 voters and taxpayers asking for certain <br />restrictions in regard to issuing license for the sale of intoxicating liquors in the Village of Elk River. <br />Ordered filed. <br /> <br />V.B. Rubeck presented his bond for license to sell liquors in the Village according to restrictions by <br />Council adopted. <br /> <br />On motion bond accepted and placed on file, and license granted for one year, on said V.B.
