Housing and Redevelopment Minutes Page 2 <br /> April 3,2017 <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 5. Open Forum <br /> No one was present for open forum. <br /> 6. Public Hearings <br /> There were no public hearings. <br /> 7.1 Rehabilitation Loan Program Update <br /> Ms. Othoudt provided an update on the Rehabilitation Loan Program as outlined in her staff <br /> report. <br /> Commissioner Ovall asked if staff has any recommendation for refunding the program, since <br /> the balance is getting down to approximately$75,000. Ms. Othoudt stated that refunding <br /> the program will be reviewed in the budget discussions in June. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Ovall and seconded by Commissioner Eder to approve the <br /> mortgage and repayment agreements for the Hanson and Sandhoefer. Motion <br /> carried 5-0. <br /> 7.2 Marketing Report <br /> Ms. Othoudt reviewed her memo to the HRA. <br /> Chair Toth asked if the Star News could do a follow-up article. Ms. Othoudt stated that she <br /> felt they would have enough coverage with the mailings and quarter-page ads they are <br /> planning to do. <br /> 8. Announcements <br /> There were no announcements. <br /> The HRA recessed at 5:42 p.m. and reconvened in work session at 5:44 p.m. <br /> 9.1 Main Street Property Redevelopment Plan <br /> The HRA discussed Options A,B and C for a potential redevelopment project. The HRA <br /> directed staff to find out the valuations of the two single family properties along 3th Street. <br /> The consensus of the HRA was to proceed with Option A discussions at this time,with the <br /> potential to expand to Option A at some point in the future. <br />
