Call Meeting To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council <br />was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Klinzing. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Consider A<;lenda <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The following items were added to the agenda: <br /> <br />7.1. Update on East Elk River Condemnation Process <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE APRIL 19, 1999, CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3. Consider Consent Aqenda <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />3.10.3/29/99 SPECIAL JOINT COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES - <br />APPROVED <br />3.1 b. 4/12/99 COUNCIL MINUTES - APPROVED <br />3.2. REQUEST BY BLEEKER NURSERY FOR TEMPORARY GREENHOUSE IN MENARDS <br />PARKING LOT (CASE NO. GP 99-4) - APPROVED <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />4.1. <br /> <br />Boys and Girls Club Update <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Council member Thompson updated the council on the building progress of the <br />Boys and Girls Club. He noted that construction has begun with the anticipation of <br />a late summer opening. <br />
