<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 12, 1891 <br /> <br />Council met at Recorder’s Office at 2:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: D. R. Houlton, K.H. Burrell, Wm. E. Cory, E.E. Bryant <br /> <br />Minutes of the last meeting read and approved. <br /> <br />Proceeded to examine all orders paid by the Treasurer from January 13, 1890 to January 12, 1891. <br />All being found correct, the ( ) was cancelled. <br /> <br />The annual statement of the Village treasurer showing receipts and disbursements for the year 1890 <br />was presented, examined and approved. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed: <br /> <br /> D.R. Houton, account paid Peake and Shaw for nails $ .21 <br /> W.H. Houlton, ( ) $92.52 <br /> Albert Bailey, nails $ 3.56 <br /> E. E. Bryant, 3 months’ salary as Recorder $ 8.75 <br /> <br />The report of the Board of Auditors from January 13, 1890 to January 13, 1891 as made by the <br />Recorder, was presented and on examination the same being found correct was signed officially by <br />the members present as the report of said board and the same ordered filed in the R ecorder’s office. <br /> <br />On motion, adjourned <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: E.E.
