City of <br /> Elk City of Elk River <br /> Wver City Council <br /> Resolution 17- <br /> A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River to Reject all Bids <br /> Submitted for the Wayfinding Signage Project <br /> WHEREAS, Six (6) bids were received, opened, and publicly read on Monday March, 20, <br /> 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the bids which ranged from incomplete to $679,569. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br /> River,Minnesota, as follows: <br /> 1. The bids received on March 20, 2017, are hereby rejected. <br /> 2. Previous plans shall be modified to add clarity for prospective bidders. <br /> 3. The city clerk shall prepare and obtain publication of an advertisement for bids for <br /> the making of improvements pursuant to the revised plans and specifications. The <br /> amended plans shall be advertised for a minimum of 10-days, shall specify the work <br /> to be done, and shall state the bids will be received by 2:00 pm on May 9, 2017, at <br /> which time they will be publicly opened and read. <br /> Passed and adopted this 171h day of April 2017. <br /> John J.
