Economic Development Authority- Minutes Page 3 January-17, 2017 Moved by Commissioner Provo and seconded by Commissioner Ovall to appoint Matt Westgaard as Treasurer for 2017. Motion carried 7 -0. Moved by Commissioner Westgaard and seconded by Commissioner Wagner to appoint Bryan Provo as Assistant Treasurer for 2017. Motion carried 7 -0. 6.3 EDA Subcommittee Appointments Ms. Othoudt presented the staff report. President Tveite indicated Commissioner Ovall currently serves as EDA and banking representatives on the EDA Finance Committee and he would like to see the EDA position opened up to someone else on the EDA if they are interested. Moved by President Tveite and seconded by Commissioner Ovall to appoint Bryan Provo as Economic Development Authority representative to the Economic Development Authority Finance Subcommittee. Motion carried 7- 0. Commissioner Ovall indicated he is excited to see Rhonda Magnussen serving on the Beautification Committee and wondered if she would be interested in also filling the legal representative position on the EDA Finance Committee. Ms. Othoudt indicated staff will reach out to her. Moved by Commissioner Westgaard and seconded by Commissioner Olsen to approve the continuation of the following members of the Economic Development Authority Finance Subcommittee: ■ EDA: Dan Tveite • EDA: Bryan Provo • Banking: Chad Vitzthum • Banking: Nate Ovall • Law: Open • Real Estate: Ryan Hardin • At Large: Larry Toth • At Large: Jim Gromberg Motion carried 7 -0.
