The Wage and Benefits <br /> Committee may recommend to the Commission to adopt employee benefit changes. Staff may <br /> recommend operational changes that affect the personnel policy be adopted by the Commission <br /> for incorporation into the handbook. <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> There are only a few changes to the handbook since its last revision November 2015. Changes <br /> are the removal of language related to the security department as the business line was sold in <br /> 2016, updated language regarding meal time breaks, insertion of a Fair Pay Policy per counsel <br /> recommendation, clarification on Lead Pay differential calculation, clarification on vacation <br /> accrual, and insertion of additional vacation pay for two management positions. Attached is a <br /> revised ERMU Employee Handbook reflecting the proposed changes.
