Some form of <br />design criteria will be incorporated into the PUD agreement. <br /> <br />Pedestrian Access <br /> <br />The pedestrian access between the Walmart and the home improvement <br />parking lots will be widened from 20 feet to 24 feet. The sidewalk on the west <br />side of Crossing Avenue has been extended through to the connection with <br />the business park on the south end of the project. It was not extended <br />through to Tyler Street. Staff will recommend the sidewalk be extended to <br />Tyler Street. <br /> <br />Landscaping <br /> <br />The applicant has submitted a conceptual landscaping plan. A final plan will <br />be submitted for approval which will incorporate Planning Commission, City <br />Council and staff comments. It is staffs recommendation that landscape <br />islands be more centrally located in the Walmart parking lot to better break <br />up the expanse of pavement. <br /> <br />EAW and Wetlands <br /> <br />On February 16th the Council approved the proposed wetland mitigation plan <br />and approved the negative declaration on the need for an EIS. <br /> <br />Grading, Drainage and Utilitiies <br /> <br />Drainage, grading and utilities are addressed in the City Engineer's memo. <br />
