The Planning Commission was concerned <br />with the unresolved building code issues, the classification of "temporary" <br />building, and whether or not to allow the building to vary from the Elk River <br />Architectural Standards. The Commission approved of staffs recommended <br />conditions with the following addition: <br /> <br />· THAT THE BUILDING CONFORM TO THE ELK RIVER ARCHITECTURAL <br />STANDARDS. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Planning Commission recommend approval of a <br />conditional use permit amendment to allow a temporary storage building <br />with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. THAT THE BUILDING CONFORM TO THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE AND <br />THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ELK RIVER BUILDING AND ZONING <br />DEPARTMENT. <br /> <br />2. THAT THE BUILDING BE ACCESSIBLE BY EMERGENCY VEHICLES AND <br />THE ACCESS BE CONSTRUCTED TO SPECIFICATIONS RECOMMENDED BY <br />THE CITY ENGINEER. <br /> <br />. 3. THAT THE BUILDING BE LIMITED TO THE PROCESSING AND STORAGE OF <br />SOILS AND VEHICLE STORAGE. <br /> <br />4. THAT THE BUILDING BE CONSIDERED TEMPORARY AND CAN BE <br />REMOVED FOR RECLAMATION OR ROAD CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES <br />ONCE THE MINERAL EXCAVATION HAS CEASED. <br /> <br />5.
