Lighting and Accessorv Structures <br /> <br />No signs or advertising are proposed. <br /> <br />No accessory structures or equipment are shown in the information provided. <br /> <br />No illumination is proposed. <br /> <br />Setback and Height Reauirements <br /> <br />The proposed tower complies with the setback requirements. The proposed <br />height of the tower is about 174 feet above grade. The tower itself is 150 feet <br />and is located on the roof of the building which is approximately 24 feet <br />above grade. In order to have a 174 foot high tower the applicant must <br />provide space for one additional user. <br /> <br />Planninf! Commission Meetinf! <br /> <br />At the Planning Commission meeting held on February 23, no one spoke at <br />the public hearing. The applicant explained the design of the tower and the <br />discussions held with other tower owners in the area regarding co-locating. <br />The applicant submitted a booklet which included tower specifications and <br />installation information. He indicated they would be supplying a letter from <br />a licensed engineer which certifies the tower meets the construction <br />guidelines outlined in the ordinance. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />The Planning Commission recommends approval of the rezoning request to <br />AT based on the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The rezoning is compatible with the surrounding land uses and would <br />not adversely affect the property under consideration for rezoning. <br /> <br />2. The proposed rezoning is necessary in order to provide effective <br />telecommunication and dispatch coverage for Morrell Companies. <br /> <br />3.
