Material Choice <br />After research, the decision was made to <br />use engineered Cedartone pressure treated <br />lumber for the table, bench and roof <br />supports. <br />This is a type of hardwood that has proven <br />very reliable for a large number of builders <br />of similar park structures". <br />Being treated, it does not rot or decay easily <br />outdoors, is resistant to water damage due <br />to repellent applied on surface, has <br />exceptional durability and is easy to work <br />with. <br />Wood is a natural material and would fit <br />more in line with the 'Powered by Nature' <br />theme. <br />
