Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 7.3 Park Dedication —Aggregate Commercial 5th <br /> Mr. Benoit presented his staff report. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Ahlness and seconded by Commissioner Kallemeyn <br /> to accept staff recommendation to accept park dedication to be paid in the <br /> form of cash for 26.19 acres at the City Council established rate when the <br /> subdivision is released for recording. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 7.4 Hillside City Park Plan <br /> Mr. Hecker presented his staff report. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Kallemeyn and seconded by Commissioner <br /> Nystrom to approve the Hillside City Park Plan. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 7.5 Park Improvement Fund <br /> • Mr. Hecker presented his staff report. <br /> Mr. Sevcik presented the trail repairs and connections planned for 2017. <br /> Chair Anderson stated that$170,000 was being carried over from 2016. <br /> Mr. Hecker asked if there is interest to add trails on County Road 30,referenced on <br /> map provided at meeting. <br /> Mr. Hecker continued to share the Park Improvement Fund descriptions for 2017. <br /> Stating that the funds can be held over from previous year if not used and the fund is <br /> from the municipal liquor store revenues. <br /> Mr. Sevcik shared that the current tennis courts at Trott Brook Park will require <br /> more repair and increasing this from$15,000 to $20,000 will give it another five years <br /> while another funding source is secured to correct the soils under the courts. <br /> Chair Anderson asked about the local match regarding wayfmding signage at <br /> Woodland Trails Park. <br /> Mr. Sevcik shared that the grant application stated we would do $50,000 match. <br /> • Partu � r <br /> A RE <br />
