He further indicated that narrowing the street would not result in a loss of right- <br />of-way. <br /> <br /> Mae Thompson, 1034 Main Street – Ms. Thompson indicated that she was previously <br />assessed for the Main Street project and questioned if she would also be assessed for this <br />project. The City Engineer indicated that it has not yet been determined if she will be <br />assessed again. <br /> <br /> Bob McCartney – 328 Morton Avenue – Mr. McCartney questioned if the $5,000 <br />assessment includes all components of the project. The City Engineer indicated that all <br />components were included in the cost. <br /> <br /> Carlo Schultz – Union Congregational Church – Mr. Schultz questioned the amount of the <br />assessment the church would receive. <br /> <br /> Teresa Kleven – 1226 Fourth Street – Ms. Kleven questioned how the assessments were <br />determined. She felt the assessments should be determined by front footage rather than by <br />lot. <br /> <br /> Gordon Bynum – 420 Rush – Mr. Bynum questioned the payment schedule for the <br />assessment. <br /> <br /> Hazel Hageseth – 1133 Fourth Street – Ms. Hageseth had a question pertaining to an <br />inspection of her property by the Utilities department. <br /> <br /> There being no further questions, Mayor Klinzing closed the public hearing. <br /> <br /> COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 03-12 <br />ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS IN THE MATTER OF THE PAVEMENT <br />REHABILITATION IMPROVEMENT OF 2003. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.3. Board and Commission Appointments <br /> <br /> The City Council interviewed Ann Schroeder who applied for the Library Board. The City <br />Council made the following appointments: <br /> <br /> Ice Arena Commission <br /> <br /> COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPOINT RON JOHNSON TO THE <br />ICE ARENA COMMISSION AS THE AT-LARGE REPRESENTATIVE FOR A <br />THREE-YEAR TERM EXPIRING ON FEBRUARY 28, 2006. <br />COUNCILMEMBER KUESTER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br /> Library Board <br /> <br /> COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED THE FOLLOWING APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br /> <br />
